Piano Sonata in B Minor Liszt

Piano Sonata in B Minor is regarded as one of Liszt’s greatest works for solo piano and was finished on Feb. 2, 1853 during his Weimar period. It was dedicated to Robert Schumann as Robert Schumann dedicated Fantasie in C, Op. 17 to Liszt. It is thought that Liszt had inspiration from Milton’s Paradise Lost, the Faust Legend, and the story of Genesis to complete this work. It is a single movement in sonata form and starts slows and gradually builds tension up to the grand 4th theme. This work of epic proportions is 36 pages long and is recommended for advanced pianists. There is no song to accompany the sheet music being that it’s over 30 minutes long, apologies for that.
